Bobby Johnson

Phyllis (Bobby) Lorraine Johnson , 89, died on Friday, June 15, 2012 in Dalhart, TX

A memorial service was held at 2:00 pm Monday, June 18, 2012 at St. James Episcopal Church - burial followed in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dalhart, Texas under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home, Dalhart, Texas.

Officiating was Fr. Phillip Ray, St. James Episcopal Church of Dalhart

Phyllis “Bobby” Lorraine Crawford was born May 19, 1923 in Guymon, OK to C.B. and Olivia (Wilson) Crawford. Bobby attended Texas Women’s University in Denton, TX and married William Glenn Johnson on August 14, 1944. Glenn preceded her in death on October 15, 1990. They made their home in Dalhart. Bobby was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two children, Gwyn Davidson and Gary Johnson. Bobby loved life and her family too. She enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bridge player with her devoted “bridge club” group. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her Daughter – Gwyn Davidson and her husband Bud of Albuquerque, NM her son: Gary Johnson and wife Terri of Dalhart, TX.

Grand-Daughters – Stacey Kryman and husband Jonathan of Seattle, WA, Natalie Garcia and husband Jr. of Dalhart, TX , Adriane Day and husband Ty of Dalhart, TX, Monica James and husband Levi of Dalhart, TX and Karlee Johnson of Dalhart, TX

Grandsons – Brian Davidson and wife Sonja of Phoenix, AZ and Garrett Johnson and wife Kristal of Dalhart, TX

Great Grandchildren Josie and Will Kryman of Seattle, WA, Zoe and Seth Davidson of Phoenix, AZ, Grayson, Olivia, Eli and Garner Garcia of Dalhart, TX, Avi and Raimi Day of Dalhart, TX , Hagan Johnson of Dalhart, TX and Cole and Judson James
